Strolling through the vibrant streets of Milan enjoying canalside drinks and classic Italian cuisine is my definition of la dolce vita. Are you up for a weekend away? Here is my guide to the hidden gems and top hideaways that cannot be missed this season. From fine restaurants to modern vintage stores, and more. Enjoy!
Villa Necchi Campiglio
This architectural masterpiece is well worth a visit. A stunning oasis with astonishing interiors and grand outdoor gardens set right in the city center of Milan. Completed by architect Piero Portaluppi in 1935 and home to the famous Necchi Campiglio family.
Giacomo Rosticceria
This genuine restaurant oozes Italian flavors and serves amazing Italian pizza and the best carbonara in town. If up for a long lunch, be sure to grab a seat in the picturesque garden.
”Visiting Milan is an endless love story for both foodies and fashionistas.”
Gelato magnifico!
Words cannot describe the taste of real Italian gelato. Luckily there are plenty of local ice cream parlors around. Make sure not to miss out on the Stracciatella flavor, it is 10 out of 10.
Osteria Del Binari
Explore exquisite Italian cuisine in a spectacular atmosphere (especially the stunning outdoor garden). This lovely place is located near Porta Genova.
“This vibrant city is a must-visit for weekend escapes. Remember to always arrive in style.”
