Kindness goes a long way.

I don’t consider myself a superficial person. Not at all. I guess that I might be a little fussy about the way I look, but isn’t everyone?

I like clothes. I like accessories. I like caring about what kind of coffee I drink. I’m still a good person. So what if I ride a Vespa? I look really good on it. Vespas are awesome. I’m sure you like loads of things that I haven’t even heard about. And isn’t that what makes life so interesting? Let’s all just do what we want, like what we want, and mind our own business.

Peace!

You can’t live life with your eyes closed.

Being an architect is the best job in the world. I get to watch my ideas come alive as great buildings, which is a wonderful experience. But as with all creative jobs, being an architect is very demanding.

Creativity isn’t something that’s just handed to you – you have to work for it. For me that means never leaving home without my camera. I’m inspired by beauty, and beauty can be found everywhere. I’m constantly taking pictures, and I keep the best ones in a box. My box of beauty. And when I’m closing in on a deadline without anything to show the client, that box is usually what saves me. It’s a beautiful thing.

Have a nice day!

Remember to enjoy the ride

Every single day my job puts me in position of power, where many people rely on me to make correct decisions.

And when I get home to my family, the situation is very similar. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and my family always comes first. But I’d be lying if I said that the responsibility never becomes stressful. Because it certainly does.

The trick is to relax, do your best and take one day at a time. And most importantly, you always take the time to really enjoy the little things in life. Have a glass of wine with your significant other, watch a movie with your kids, or just take 15 minutes to yourself and read the paper. To me these moments are priceless. To me these moments are what life is all about.

Best regards!
